Really… check the dictionary… I mean it!
Osculation – It is the simple act of kissing. But fun gets kicked right in the nuts when you say “I want to osculate you now” instead of “I want to kiss you now”
Typhlobasia – Well… well… well… if you are a normal person and kiss with your eyes closed then you have typhlobasia. Originates from the Greek word typhlo (blindness) + latin word Basium (Kissing)
Cataglottism – Though this word sounds savage, but believe it or not, in the 1600s, people used to describe this for French kissing or using tongue while kissing.
Snogging – The English still use the word. I personally came across this word for the first time when I was reading Harry Potter and figured out that it means smooching the lips off someone. Still not much fond of the word as it reminds of all the rhyming words like flogging, bogging, jogging etc…
Then there are slangs that the teens and other young bloods use these days like make out, 1st base, smooch, be all over, get on, frenching, etc etc. These slangs make it sound like though you want to “do it” but you don’t want to say its name… hence come up with random words that might insinuate the act.
Here’s what I feel… let the word be as is and just enjoy the action!
